CUENDE wins the first International HACKATHON (28th May 2018 )

Last FEPE Technical Innovation Award winner, Daniel Cuende of CUENDE Infometrics, has been recognized by MICROSOFT and ESOMAR as the Best Analyst in the first ever INTERNATIONAL HACKATHON CHALLENGE of Market Research in Big Data.

On 11 and 12 September, the first International HACKATHON Challenge organized by ESOMAR and MICROSOFT took place at the 70th ESOMAR Congress in Amsterdam. Leading Big Data experts and worldwide market research professionals took part in the competition. Participants were challenged to discover insights with three sets of Big Data, and from them to extract a winning strategy. To help them do so, they were provided with offline Laptops and Microsoft analytic tools, and two working days of quiet isolation. This latest success for CUENDE comes hot on the heels of scooping the Technological Innovation Award from FEPE (International Association of Outdoor Advertising) as the most innovative audience measurement company – thus confirming public recognition of the company’s constant improvement and its leadership in the Analysis and Research of OOH (Out-of-Home). The application of new technologies, the design of innovative research models and the company’s experience in Big Data have enabled CUENDE to develop the most advanced systems of OOH audience measurement in several countries and vindicated its more than two decades of commitment to the OOH Industry.

Daniel Cuende speaker at International OOH Congress (1st July 2017)

The 9th International OOH Congress will be held between Tuesday October 3rd – Friday October 6th in Sousse, Tunisia. CUENDE Scoops International Award for Out-of-Home Audience Measurement (1st July 2017)

Spanish company CUENDE Infometrics has picked up the coveted Technological Innovation Award presented by the outdoor ad industry trade association FEPE International. 

The award recognises CUENDE’s revolutionary audiences measuring system for the contribution it has made to the outdoor (Out-of-Home, or OOH) advertising industry. The system combines analysis of big data and the detection of vehicles in hi-res satellite images with data obtained from interconnected cars and smartphone apps in GPS traffic flows. Once collected, the information is integrated with travel habits surveys, thus allowing OOH companies, advertisers and media agencies to obtain audience measurements on both panels and networks. The information also includes socio-demographic and lifestyle profiling, which provides the OOH industry with audience data comparable with the geo-planning metrics available to other advertising media.CUENDE’s has developed an automated, transparent system for out-of-home audiences, accessible from around the world via satellite images and other geo-big data and positioning CUENDE as the first universal supplier of global data.

The award, presented in Stockholm on June 9, 2017, was collected by Daniel Cuende, Innovation Manager at CUENDE Infometrics. Commenting on the award, he said, “We are very proud to be recognised as the most innovative company in the outdoor advertising industry.” Cuende was quick to point out that the company’s success was down to the continuing efforts of the entire CUENDE team, whose members innovate on a daily basis as part of the corporate philosophy – a hallmark of the company since the day it was founded.

CUENDE exhibitor at 58th FEPE Congress 25th May 2017

The 58th FEPE Congress, will be held between Wednesday, June 7th and Friday, June 9th 2017 at the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, Stockholm.

The Congress includes 2 days of presentations and panels, with high speakers from across the world, all of whom will be bringing their unique viewpoints on the Out of Home industry. FEPE International represents Out of Home media owners, agencies and technology partners worldwide. Over 300 senior delegates, from the world of Out of Home, have confirmed their participation. Interview in “El Publicista” Mexican magazine (25/01/2017)

IIn September 2016, during the 9th edition of the Out-of-Home Totem Awards in Mexico, José María Cuende, CEO at CUENDE Infometrics and Daniel Cuende, Innovation Manager, were invited by the organisation to present MÉTRICOOH to the Mexican Advertising industry.

During the visit, the magazin e“El Publicista” conducted a deep interview, which was published in the December-January 2017 edition. In the interview Jose Maria Cuende reviewed her career and the beginnings of the company, founded 25 years ago, and declared that OOH “being the last to be measured allowed OOH to access the most modern and advanced techniques of this era, so that, today, its statistical information is the most accurate and reliable of all.”

Daniel Cuende pointed that “TV ratings are measured using techniques that are, at least, 25 years old, so they are outdated and do not include visibility and contact adjustments such as the Out-of-Home (VAC).”
