Daniel Cuende awarded "Best Paper" prize in Pamro Congres at Zimbabwe (28/08/2016)

Daniel Cuende, Innovation Manager at CUENDE Infometrics, and Max Richman, Data Scientist at GeoPoll, was awarded the “Best Paper” prize in Pamro 2016 Congress. The event was held in Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe), during the event Daniel Cuende and Max Richmand made a presentation showing the PanAfrican OOH Audience Measurement system, develop by both companies, and showing the examples of the first release in Nairobi (Kenya).




Big impact of South Africa data presentation (05/2016).

During last week ROAD (Roadside Outdoor Audience Data), the  OOH Audience system of South Africa, was presented in three diferent events in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesbourg. Answering to OMC invitation, the Advertising industry executives and journalists filled up the three events.

The  players collaborating through the OMC to achieve this are JCDecaux (former Continental), Primedia Outdoor, Ad Outpost and Outdoor Network, representing about 75% of all sites countrywide.

The new system was designed by CUENDE Infometrics with the collaboration of Ask Afrika for fieldwork, the technical oversight of Kuper Research . It combines various elements including traffic flows, satellite imagery and travel patterns to form a comprehensive traffic model, which when combined with the location of all media owner billboard panels, creates an accurate representation of OOH audiences.

ROAD has been described as an “highly ambitious and technically difficult research project and the deployment of state-of-the-art technology that rivals Google’s” by journalist Justin McCarthy of The Media Online.

 CUENDE Infometrics and Telmar has introduce a  new software into the South African market for OOH media owners.Quantum will enable  to upload their inventories on to a map and calculate the corresponding frequency and reach-on-the-fly. The software includes mapping capabilities, geomarketing and campaing planning optimitation tools. This innovative research has attracted news coverage that reflects the strong interest of the South African market in the  system.

CUENDE Infometrics exhibitor at 57th FEPE International Congress (05/05/2016).

The 57th FEPE Congress will be held between June 1st and June 3rd 2016 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Barcelona (Spain). The Gala Dinner will be celebrate at the Codorniu wine making facility, just outside Barcelona. Codorniu is well know  family of winegrowers which origins goes back to the XVI century.

The 57th FEPE Congess will have a strong presence of MÉTRICOOH. During the Congress CUENDE Infometrics will present MÉTRICOOH in its booth. In addition at 2nd June Daniel Cuende, Innovation Manager at CUENDE Infometrics, will particite in a round table of the Best data based research of the last 12 months.

Next presentation of South Africa OOH Audience Data release (02/05/2016).

The South African Out of Home Measurement Council (OMC) invites all OOH media owners to a pre-launch even of the OOH Audience Research to be held on the 18th May in Durban, 20th May in Cape Town and  23th May in Johannesburg.

MÉTRICOOH system is the foundation of South African OOH ratings. During the events Daniel Cuende, Co-Founder and Innovation Manager of CUENDE Infometrics, will show the methodology of the Research provided to OMC Audience system.

CUENDE joins to PAMRO (24/04/2016).

After MÉTRICOOH presentation at 16th PAMRO Media Research Conference at Tanzania, CUENDE Infometrics has been invited to joint as corporate membership to PAMRO, the Pan African Research Organization.

The mission of PAMRO is to create a uniform research infrastructure in African countries  and to use the same measuring and target marketing methods so that results of different countries can be compared validly. CUENDE Infometrisc is proud to share with PAMRO this goals and to contribute in their efforts.



"Investigación & Marketing" magazine published an article of Gonzalo Ortiz (08/01/2016)

Gonzalo Ortiz Paz, Business Development Manager at CUENDE Infometrics, detailed the enhances of GEOMEX, Spanish OOH Audience Measurement, that includes the integration of Visibility Adjust Contact factors based on Eye-Tracking research and the increase of the coverage of GEOMEX study to the 8,122 municipalities of Spain. 

The article finished with an overview of the OOH research that CUENDE has created in South Africa, Pakistan, and other African countries.
